Runa216 said: 44 - Kirby super Star (SNES, DS) Not a huge fan of Kirby usually, and in retrospect this should be down there between Joe and Mac, and Modern Warfare, but whatever. This game is just special to me, the combination of value, variety, fun factor, and nostalgia make it just so damn awesome. It's not just a collection of minigames, but a collection of full-length kirby games, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I still love attacking Dyna Blade every chance I get. I have this on DS, maybe I'll play it again soon! Also: Bawww, nobody ever responds to my games! I also notice that a lot of people are having 'so-so' opinions on some of their games lower down the list. If you 'kinda liked it but didn't love it', you shouldn't have it on an "all time favorites" list....and if you can't think of 50 games you truly enjoyed, then maybe you're a n00b :P Hell, I could easily think of 100 games that I love...I had to chop up this list just to get some variety in there. |
Some of the games lower down the list have glaring flaws in my case, which diminished their ability to be further up. That they're placed at all shows that i'm a more noncritical gamer, and also that i've only ever really played around 140 games to any great extent, so i'm looking at roughly the top 35% of my entire gaming experience thus far
Number 44 is StarFox 64. I'll be interested to see where that ends up on everyone else's lists
Also i've derived the distribution of my list
3rd Gen: 2
4th Gen: 4
5th Gen: 15
6th Gen: 13
7th Gen: 16
An odd distribution, since there's only 2 7th gen games in the top ten, yet they have the broadest representation overall
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
