No, you misunderstand.

The first pic you posted actually is from CEA. You can switch from classic to new graphics by pushing a button.

Hence, you didn't actually post a picture from the original Xbox version of Halo. Both screens you've posted are CEA.

Sure if you want to get technical about it it was from CEA but it looks exactly the same as Halo CE did. There is absolutely no difference at all.
