Is religion still relevant in modern society?

Your opinion is irrelevant in the end. it doesn't matter what you think, it either is or it isn't.  

In a religious discussion, how can anything be so black and white as that? There are arguments supporting and disagreeing with the statement I made about religion being important for civilisation

Sadly, in modern society, things like Facebook and Linkedin are much more important than religions unless you live in parts of the world that still kill over religious beliefs, which I call backwards trash shit that should no longer exist.
