Nintendo showed a bit of Wii U this year so if sony started ps4 production this year why would a finished product 2 years later be considered as rushed? and how do you know for sure that microsoft will be the 1 that shows what power the next gen will bring? what if sony just so happens to be the most powerful if they release in 2013? microsoft's launching 1st this gen means nothing! ps2 launched 1st(excluding dreamcast) last gen then microsft and nintendo followed AFTER but microsoft still launched it's next gen console before the others even though it didnt the previous gen and even when ps4 arrives ps3 will continue to sell and profit, did you forget that the PlayStation brand itself has legs? |
i think you forgot one big point...you cant compare gens with gens!and also i dont said that cause the PS3 launched after the Xbox360 it would be stupid if PS4 releases before the new Xbox ...the thing is just that it would be nonsense for Sony to release beore the new Xbox console (that will definatly launch in 2013) just cause the PS3 still got so much time in it...it would be stupid to release before the Xbox just to be 1st when the Ps3 is not even over and started to make money...there is enough place for some more price cuts what isnt the case with xbox...the PS3 just got more room to play than the Xbox360...
Microsoft launched first this gen just cause the first Xbox was fukkin crap and was destroyed by the PS2 so they wanted to be the first next gen to get a little advantage i guess and Sony dont need that in they current PS3 situation with making money now and a bright future for it...the first Xbox was dead even before it was alive so Microsoft said "man lets go out soon as possible from this gen and lets do it better next" which just isnt the case with Sony...like i said you cant compare gens with gens...they are just other backgrounds for every company/console every time!
and lol @ excluding Dreamcast in the 6th gen...its like i would say Wii launched first this gen excluding Xbox360...
