Middle East peace crisis, perhaps involving an Israeli attack on Iran (which necessarily involves violation of Jordanian, Syrian, and Iraqi airspace) which highlights the divide between east and west in the UN, leading to a Western drive to reform the UN namely by ejecting China from the Security Council, and what starts as a small incident highlights Chinese resentments at being caged in by the Western system, and they forge more solid ties with the anti-Israeli Middle Eastern bloc (which i will call Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, and also Pakistan even though they're not properly middle eastern), as well as rallying everyone else dissatisfied with the current world order (Serbia, Cuba, Venezuela, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, the Sudan) and countries specifically in the Chinese sphere of influence (Nepal, North Korea)
Because of their vested interest against radical Islam, Russia will align with the West in this case. America, Britain, Israel, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Italy, France, South Africa, Greece, Poland, Turkey, India, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan will serve as the prime actors for the UN, though many others could contribute
