It'll be somewhat like the Vita's impending launch. They'll launch it at an affordable price, they won't make the mistake of pricing it as high as the Ps3 was. They'll make sure they have a strong launch line-up of games. If they could get two strong first party IPs out for launch, it'd set them up very nicely, Uncharted 4 & Gran Turismo 6 would be perfect. Ps3 struggled at the start, mainly because of the price, but also because it didn't have that 'must-have' game. If they can get either Uncharted 4 or GT6 out for launch they won't have this problem. Uncharted 4 would be my choice, solely because it's a critically acclaimed & commercially successful franchise that's has a growing following with each installment. Note, that I think Naughty Dog should develop this, no-one else. I have a funny feeling that next gen will be the end of Naughty Dog's traditional 'work on a different franchise with each new console generation'.
I also think that they should launch this simultaneously across the three main regions, Japan, America and Europe. None of this 'Japan gets it so many months before America does, and America gets it so many more months before Europe, shit'. I'd launch it simultaneously across, Japan, America & Europe at the start of November, so they can capitalize on the holiday season.
