If I recall Sony's approach with the move was one of softly softly does it , bring it to the market as an accessory that gives players another option rather than trying to make it integral to the PS3 experience , So there was no need to give it a large advertising budget or have heaps of move titles in the pipeline , instead push integration with titles like KZ 3 e.t.c , like they seem to be doing with 3D and mix that with a select number of Move branded titles.
At least that's my take on it.

That is what they said their approach was, but that was not how it happened... atleast in Britain where it was the most advertised game/device/console for a good while even moreso than the Kinect. The only reletive thing that was advertised more than it, in the same period, was Fable 3 which at the time of its release owned every other advertisement slot (I suppose this is anecdotal in a sense but we are talking about national television here). In reality it would appear that Sony made quite a kerfuffle about move, and certainly far more than they would have you believe.

OT: Reggie cannot speak about lack of games, certainly there hasn't be too many 'great games' released for Kinect and many of those announced even before launch still have yet to release but I would say that 75 games for an accessory in one year is a pretty good number even if a good majority of those are not too desirable for the likes of a 'Gamer'... but then again the same could be said of the Wii. I think next year could well be different though with Project Draco (possibly releasing if it hasn't been cancled. I hope it hasn't), Ryse, Steel Battalion, Starwars Kinect and dare I say Fable The Journey (which will most likely be very disappointing sure, but I hold out hope of it being good). As for Playstation Move I haven't really followed it but it seems to be much more an addon to many games compared to the Kinect and they have made it a feature of a few big first party titles (LBP2, KZ3 etc...). Plus 85 games overall impliment it in some way, which is also a very good number for just one year considering the fact that it is an accessory and not a full blown system.
