Only half right.  Yes it's humbling and noble to admit mistakes and accept defeat, but he's not a great guy.  Nobody with his ideals could be considered great in this day and age. 

Accept defeat? Did not know there was a war going on.
So far his homosexual approach has been nothing more than fair and just. He`s trying to explain how a religious person sees it and deals with it.
Sexist, homophobic, chauvanistic? Really?  All he did was not support homosexuality like some here do and say the magical words "women have a place". So far he hasn`t explained himself on this, btw.

So yes, he`s a great guy.
