the world isn't gonna end but alot of other things are looking to happen next year
let take all 'real' warning:
solar storm -electricity could be wiped out
IRAN war aka WW3 - USAISRAEL trying to start another war which could become WW3 as China warns USA of getting closer and Russia also not liking it
Financial Collapse - the world is in deep debt with western economies not able to pay back the debt
