*Crack knuckles*

Okay.  Let's do this.  Before, I wasn't sure I wanted to do one of those "Legacy games" lists where games automatically recieved their place because of their impact at the time (Super Mario Bros., Legend Of Zelda), or if I should just make a list based on what I suggest that other people should try.  In the end, I just said I'll list the games I want to play if I could only play one game for the rest of my life.  Here you go:

3.  Metroid: Zero Mission (Nintendo Gameboy Advance)

2.  The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time 3D (Nintendo 3DS)

1.  Super Mario Galaxy (Nintendo Wii)

Towards the end, I had to make some decisions.  I could have easily filled my entire top ten (possibly my top twenty!) with nothing but games from the Mario, Metroid, and Zelda series.  I made an attempt to choose which entries I loved the most.  Metroid Zero beat out Metroid Fusion and Super Metroid.  Mario Galaxy beat out Mario Sunshine.  Ocarina of Time beat out A Link to the Past.  I took into consideration which games gave me the fondest memory, which had the perfect emotional impact, and which ones I loved too much to ever trade in or leave behind.  It was a labor of love.

And for the record, any game in my top five could have easily been number one, depending on my mood.
