Why are Nintendo so expensive for digital content?

@Rol, price cuts are a weekly thing on XBL and PSN. Once, every Genesis game was marked down to $2 for a couple of days. Some sales are temporary. Some premanent. And get this--sometimes, we get to vote on what's going on sale.
