So much emotion is captured in this, and the music continues to build and build upon itself all the way through. It is the kind of music that could really move you ... that is if it was not the theme to a lame dime a dozen shooter franchise. I enjoy it in its own right though even if the game it was placed in was not worthy of this remarkable score. I pretty much had the same reaction when I first heard this that I have whenever I play a Halo game, "why is all of this great music being wasted on a lousy shooter?" |
