Not really.
It will still remain in the market and receive necessary updates. They are just no longer going to continue with new versions as Adobe is also moving to HTML5 and overall away from Flash.
Personally, I liked having flash on my android. There are many sites that utilize it, especially if you set your phone to browse as a desktop vs mobile device.
