Awesome thread idea! Finally something not about MW3/BF3 or religion.
I personally find Russia/Soviet Union the most interesting when it comes to WWII. They had some MASSIVE battles like Stalingrad and the Siege of Leningrad. I'm taking a course next semester devoted to the USSR in WWII so after that I'll have lots to talk about in this thread!
USSR took massive casualties, but also did the most damage to Germany. I think without the help of the USSR that Europe would be a lot more German right now.
