Maybe I missed it in the pages of religious intolerance within this thread, but where is there any evidence that this act was committed by a Christian or (even if it was committed by a Christian) that their religious beliefs had anything to do with this crime? Was this family following a odd Christian denomination which advocated against temperance and tolerance in favor of wrath and intolerance? Were these parents exposed to constant sermons calling for the mutilation of the genitals of gay children?
