Religion isn`t just a moral system. Religion also means to reconnect. Which would mean reconnect with God, like in a relationship. To me that`s what religion also stands for, in the good and in the bad, not just a question of who gets saved and who doesn`t.
Saying that something like that can be outdated is something i don`t agree with. How can "love one another like i loved thee" be outdated.
Instead of asking if religion is outdated, ask yourself why people stop being religious or, in other words, stay away from God. That`s where you need to look.
