I noticed that too.  While I think Rol is half way joking, he is leading on people like Christian who are probably very serious in their mocking / hate toward Sony.  But yeah, let's forget the fact that The Wii kind of died off in Japan prematurely and that many Japanese people are seeing the WiiU as the same, except HD and a tablet.

 

Either way, I think that both will do fine as they can in the Japanese market considering the state it's in right now.  I like Nintendo (I will re-iterate my hate toward NoA, though) and Sony both, but sometimes the members on VGChartz make it difficult.  Usually, it seems that Nintendo fans here have more of a problem with me liking Sony than the other way around.

I think the survey is just a reflection of people who got burned with their 3DS purchases for the poor showing for both the vita and WiiU.  They are more gun shy about purchasing another gadget at Y24999 and not knowing what the future will hold, like a lack of games for months or a price drop 6 months out.  I think with the interest level releatively high, if the vita can snag a high profile title or sony come up with one in house, alot of those who are interested but not buying would change to interested and buying.

And yes, you can easily tell those who are mocking.  I usually just dismiss their comments becuase they are nothing but dribble.  When your childish personality shows through on the internet, thats really sad.  I cant imagine having a decent adult conservation with these people.  I kinda feel sorry for them  in a way. 

Yeah, places like Operation Rainfall have more mature gamers that actually like to discuss games.  Even though it's full of Nintendo fans, I can talk about games I like on Sony platforms and most people don't mind.  TBH, I never had a problem supporting Sony and Nintendo both until I came to this board.  There are many people that actually like to talk about games here, but there are those that have to get really childish with "xxx company copied xxx company" or "xxx company PR spokesman said this about my favorite company and I'm offended."  Everyone has their biases to a certain company, but it would be nice if more can put games above their bias toward the corporations that make the devices that go under the TV.
