Outside that... being Guyana it could really be ANY religion.  Anti-gay sentiment in Africa really doesn't have a religious base and is more culturally viewed as wrong.

Doh, I confused it with Ghana.  Regardless, it's only like 57% Christian and south america where homophobia is rampant against in all circles, again partly due to aids.

That's why like 90% of the population is anti-gay and sees Aids as the gay disease?

Guyana was a colony of the British.  Not the Spanish or Portugese.
