And uninterested people tend to become interested once you release soft they care about.

Good point.  It states they are interested, but aren't buying.  This doesn't mean they won't buy it ever, it means they aren't pickin it up at launch, but things like games, new custom models, or a price cut may sway them.

If you do the math on it, that's ~ 44.6-45.8 million potential buyers who are interested in the Vita and Wii U, but don't have plans to be it initially.  As long as Nintendo and Sony continue to support their systems with games and features, and maybe with the first price cut, I would imagine quite a few of those potential buyers would become actual buyers.
