I see what you mean, but given our understanding of gaming history, what happened with Capcom and talent going from one company to another... in other words the man isn't owned by Nintendo

Yes, but the whole point of Project Sora is to be Sakurai's personal development studio of sorts. Sora without Sakurai is like Lucasfilm without Lucas

Sometimes, I'm sure there are fans who would like to see Lucasfilms without Lucas, although I can't say the same about Project Sora and Sakurai :P
