While used games are being killed, swapping games among friends is next on the chopping block

Why is it "wrong" to do with videogames what has always been done with books? Should the book publishers be able to shut down libraries because they're cutting into their bottom line?

If only businesspeople understood economics...

They do.  They just know the average person doesn't and that they can use this knowledge to push on consumers plenty of shit they wouldn't of accepted otherwise.
