I feel somewhat conflicted about this developer. On the one hand their storytelling has been their strong suit. That said however the industry has joined the charge to incorporate conflicts and dialogue choices into their games. With that being the case what set this developer apart isn't all that relevant anymore. What is very relevant however is the fact that their mechanics are fairly mundane, and the layout of their games are rinse and repeat. You basically move from one room to another room to another room. Really it is terribly linear in its approach. In a industry that is just plain moving away from scripting. With good reason I might add.

I really need to see them embracing the open world concept. It needs to be done so choices feel like they have more gravitas. Like they have real consequences. Rather then no matter what you do the net result is the same. I am also just plain tired of the loading, and all the backtracking their choices force upon the player. I also want to see some real work on mechanics, leveling, and equipment. Really it has gone right to being uninspired now.

Upside if a picture can say a thousand words. That picture gives me some hope. Did I actually see some actual sky there. I refuse to be optimistic, but likewise I am not going to be a doomsayer. Just have to wait and see I guess.
