I think the map thing has already been proven to be fake, but I'm not sure.
As for the info, I hope some of it is at least true. Character customization, being able to soup up cars and the like all sound awesome. I really hope they don't put something like cars having fuel and forcing the player to fill the tank, since that's way too much realism for this kind of game.
