I always hesitate about commas and when to use them. I think I'll work on that once I am done with my spelling.

Just start over using your commas like a mad man.  Even after almost every word!  When in doubt just throw a comma smack down.  Hey, wait a minute, my spelling is pretty poor, and I am so glad that I have spell check; now, I just need grammar check.

 Speak it in your mind  ,and try putting commas in where you would have paused for a breathe.
