Notice the similarities? History may very well repeat itself

WHOAH!!!!!

However 360 doesn't has as much of a Q4 edge as it did last year. The only reason it's even on par with 2010 numbers is because of a stronger Q1 and Q2, but since X360 Slim debut, 360 has been selling less on equivalent weeks.

As for Sony, they have a slightly bigger edge as they did a price cut.

Wonder if it will be a 5th year peak for PS3 as well, heck maybe a 6th year peak for 360... Crazy.

Its amazing how this gen has 3 relatively successful consoles!

And aside from the wii, both ps3 and 360 are possibly in their peak years!!! year 5 and 6 respectively. Thats insane. Also both will have a strong year next year with slight declines...(hell if both do further price cuts they could both be close to this years numbers again maybe even equal?!).

Depending on how long MS support the 360, we now sony will support ps3, both systems are looking at really high LT sales. Sales i didnt think was possible especially with the disastrous ps3 launch.

The longevity of this gen is gonna be a great plus to us gamers as well. Not much games announced for next year, so hopefully we wont be seeing the endless stream of sequels as we have this year...and we might get some really creative, innovative games coming.
