CreativityZone, on Youtube, managed to create a side-by-side comparison of the GTA V trailer, using the original San Andreas' engine. You get to see a lot of comparison shots and just how much better Rockstar has gotten with their own tech (I do believe it's been 8 years or so in between the games).
