These are pictures of the Knysna forest in South Africa:

They are (a) not on your map, and (b) match the graphical representation of the forests in Uncharted.

So I don't get your point.

My point was it looked like a tropical rainforest to me, and Sully called it a jungle which kinda confirmed it being a tropical rainforest, but in France you get temperate forests. Those pictures are of a temperate rainforest, which is what people are saying is in France, so it's been explained to me already :)

So you show me ONE picture from the game that looks more like a ''tropical rainforest'' than the pictures I've posted right there.

Sully calling it a ''jungle'' is therefore the only thing you have going for you. And making a whole thread about one word is certainly a fail imho.

I've heard many people referring to forests in South Africa (for instance) as jungles, not to mention that Sully could've been a) joking, b) just using a word you're clearly reading too much into, c) using the word as a cheeky reminder of the game's origins.

The forest in UC3 looked very similar to the tropical forests in UC2 (plants, waterfalls etc.) in my opinion. I still think they're taking some liberties with that type of environment being in France though. But meh.
Sully was joking at the ridiculousness of a jungle in France. "Trust you to find a jungle in France".
