Heights of who? He's quite successful... the fact that his name is even known to many people and his games sell well prove that. If you weren't aware, people promise all sorts of things and most never come through on it. Toyota can promise me the most reliable car on the road, and it can break down 10 times and get 5 recalls on it. Did they lie? I'm sure they intended it to be the best, but things just didn't work out. Either way, he seems more than just a game designer if he's even being talked about in that way. Maybe it's just me and I don't believe what people tell me when they are the ones making it and selling it. I may listen to reviewers on that subject and couple it with my own research. Did he produce the best game ever? No... and yet he is still successful. People dislike that he can still do well while not "making the best game ever"... If other devs rip him on what he has made, I could respect that, but most of the people who do rip him are not, never will be, and couldn't do it at his level of success.
