True, but at the same time Super Mario and Zelda, etc have been around for maybe 30 years, a lot of these Sony franchises are farily recent. the only one that really stands on that level is Gran Turismo.

and the thing with Nintendo is that games like Pokemon, Nintendogs and Brainage really picked up steam on the handheld. their home console market took quite a hit until the Wii, and the reason they've managed to do so well is because of success in the handheld market.

this seems to be the right way to go for Sony. building their franchises up on both the handheld and the console. which is another of NIntendo's strenghts. these Sony games should do well on the Vita. and theres always Call of Duty, with touch controls, i'm curious to see well recieved the touch controls will be recieved. personally i'm planning to go for the Vita myself. mainly because it used to take so long for developers to get games out, Vita games should be coming out faster and a bit cheaper than PS3 games, which i'm not complaining about!
