I'd agree with dtewi. It certainly was harder than the first one, but I still don't know what all the whining was about. It was a better game than the first, had more variety in the operations and includes a really nice 2 player co-op system (you can switch between 1 and 2 players in the middle of a game). The voice acting was good and they made it so you could skip the cut scenes (fast forward mode).
If you haven't gotten it yet and you like the Trauma Center concept, there's absolutely no reason to wait to buy it. It's awesome.
