widen the market? The gaming business was shooting off before the iphone was ever released. and the iphone did jack s***, do people know that cell phone aps and games have been around since 2000? Should we give nokia credit for most important gaming influence because of their hit game snake?

I remember that too. But the question is, wasn`t with the appstore that downloading games to your cellphone really took off? At least that`s the impression i have: not that things started there, but that it helped push downloadable games in a way that no one did before.
