Oh, and just to take Dedoce's bet out of this, the 360 is going to have to outsell the PS3 by ~84.5K a week from now on just to tie with the PS3. However, I don't see sales really starting to pick up that greatly for the 360, at least to the point where it could outsell the PS3, til November. So if the gap continues to grow by 20K til, say Nov. 8th (release of MW3), then that means the 360 is going to have to outsell the PS3 by ~155K a week just to tie with the PS3. Of course, I see the PS3 outselling the 360 by at least 81K the last week of Dec, like it did last year. So, in the end, the 360 is going to have to pull off selling more than the PS3 by 189K for 7 weeks straight, starting the week ending Nov 12.

This IS impossible. Even with a price cut. I see it MAYBE selling close to that for about 3 weeks: MW3 launch week, Black Friday week, and the week of Christmas. But, it just won't be able to pull that off for 7 weeks straight. Not with the recent price cut for the PS3 (first time its been available for $250), Uncharted 3 WW, and FF 13-2 in Japan.

Just for comparison's sake, last year the 360 was only able to outsell the PS3 by ~180K one week, which was the week of Christmas. And that was mostly because of Kinect. In other words, Kinect is going to have to have an INSANELY larger impact than it did last year, when it was BRAND NEW. Either that, or MS is going to have to drop the 4GB model and sell the 250GB model for $199, while at the same time dropping the Kinect to $50 and have the the Kinect 360 bundle at $249. That's the ONLY way it can pull it off.

how did PS3 do in Nov. 2010 v 360? and i agree.
