Shipped number means that we have around 1.5 million PS3's setting on shelves. Number seems about right for this time of the year.

Idk.  I would think so, but that's about what they had for the 360, but now they adjusted it up to be ~362K on shelves.  VGC has ~1.11 mil PS3's on shelves.  And while I think it's logical there would be more PS3's on shelves, with it being shipped to a few more countries, I don't think it would be ~750K more.  I think we are going to see a few more adjustments when all is said and done.

huh?

Lol.  Yea, my mistake.  For some reason I added up the months sales for July, August, Sept, instead of looking at total sales up to Oct 1st.  Still, that's a difference between the 360 and PS3 of ~680K.  I would think a difference of a couple hundred thousand would be exceptable, but over 500K?  What was the difference between them around this time of year, last year?

Edit: Well, dur!  Should have clicked the link.  I think we have the gap between the 360's sold and shipped too high.  It's around 830K less than last years was, while the PS3's gap is only 380K fewer.
