Dolla Dolla said: It's not just the internet, I can assure you that. I've been to a number of gamestores who openly dissuade customers from buying a PS3. The word of mouth for the PS3 has stretched beyond cyperspace. They need to have more Sony Gamer's Day events. |
Yeah, its the same thing around here (Puerto Rico). However, some of those same gamestores also dissuade customers from the Wii, saying that "Wiimotes can fly into your TV". I guess it has to do alot with the person working there. But it is true, the word of mouth for each console has spread beyond cyberspace.
Side note- At one store I was at, the guy selling a Wii told the lady she should ensure it (For like 100) because his Xbox360 breaks down often. I walked up to the lady and told her that the only reason that happens is because the 360 is not reliable, with like a 10-20% failure rate. The employee kicked me out of the store. LoL.
And, as for Karracker: Of course he is trying to sell the PS3, that is his job. I also hate that picture of him in the article. All I could imagine while he was spitting out that PR crap was his smiling face.
