This is quite surprising. It looks like every single one of us underestimated the Ps3 for this week. The highest better for Ps3 Week 1 is at 300k, and it's at 281k without Japan so far. Last week, it sold 22k in Japan. Granted, "PostofficeBud" is going to be mighty close, but still, everyone bet lower than it seems to have actually done.
The same is nearly true for the X360. The highest bet was 285k, in front of 250k. It looks to be doing 270k, so only one single person bet more than it did, and everyone else less.
And with the Wii, the highest bet was 230k, in front of 210k. It's at 210k without Japan, so it looks to be selling 220-225k. Again, only one person bet higher than it actually did, and he was mighty close. Again, that was "PostofficeBud".
The same could be the case with the 3DS. It's at 187k without Japan. Last week, it did 74k there. If it does that again, only 4 people will have bet higher than it did. If the 3DS does over 84k in Japan, only two people will have bet above what it did.
So that's quite funny really. We're already quite a bit off.
It's going to be very interesting to see how this develops.
