I guess the way the system is set up can be to blame for this. Private tutors are the norm here though. Most people hire them, and the ones that don't fall behind. No one goes to private tutors all night though, and the sessions take place either at the kid's house or at the tutor's house. The public edication system over here isn't very good, but it's better than the private system (and people couldn't afford to send their kids to private schools anyways). |
I wouldn't be surprised if it was because of the education system... i mean people who do bad are put in a "worthless" highschool afterall.
The thing about schooling is that in reality it's MOSTLY about time, effort and attitude.
Espiecally math, which ironically is the subject most people feel there is a specific barrier around.
