And true democracy is the US pulling all funding for something because they weren't in the majority of opinion to the rest of the world? Yeah. No threats there whatsoever.
So let's take your stance on other pieces of history, shall we? Should the American Revolutionaries be branded terrorists? They did, after all, resolve their goals through violent means. By your logic, that makes the USA a "largely terrorist group". Your attempt to paint the US as an always innocent nation resembles George Lucas' "Greedo shoots first" debacle.
