yep much better
by bg I meant background..and no it will be only distracting if you let it, if done well it can blend in with the render nicely, add more detail to the image, colors, fx etc.
by touch ups I meant, color adjustments, adding/experimenting with color themes, lighting etc.
the current one is much better than the previous imo
