Dark Souls won't get GOTY. Most of the GOTY awards are going to be between Uncharted 3 and Arkham City. Also Skyrim will probably beat Dark Souls for RPG of the year for most people as well.

I'm not saying Skyrim will not get GoTY because it probably will (even though I will disagree with it). However I disagree with your statement that Dark Soul's will not get any GoTY awards. It's an amazing game and it would be truly pathetic if it gets overshadowed by the more popular "Skyrim."

I didn't say Dark Souls wouldn't get any GOTY awards. I'm sure it will get a few but the majority of sites and GOTY awards will go to UC3, Batman AC, Zelda and maybe AC: Revelations if they can make it really good.

As far as RPG of the year awards I expect it to be roughly like this.

Around 40-60% of RPGOTY awards will go to Skyrim, 15-30% will go to Dark Souls, 10-20% will go to the Witcher 2 (that's mostly because it came out so early in the year so it will suffer because of that) and around 5-10% will be other RPG games.
