You can inflate that to 600K if you want but that'd be silly without any indication other then you think it should sell better. |
Another question is whether American and European PS3 owners could download Gran Turismo 5: Prologue ...
If there were 600,000 downloads and 80% (to pick a number) were from the United States or Europe it wouldn't be a good statement for how popular the game was in Japan.
And for those who seem to call me a Fanboy, please explain why Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is NOT a good indicator on how Gran Turismo 5 will sell? Any excuse or condition as to why Gran Turismo 5: Prologue sold poorly (in comparison to previous versions) will also directly impact sales of Gran Turismo 5.
If you look at the data, historically big selling series like Everybody's golf, Dynasty Warriors and Pro Evolution Soccer (which all sold in a similar range to Gran Turismo 4) have sold less than 1/2 as many copies on the PS3 as they sold on the PS2, please explain why these are NOT good indicators on how Gran Turismo 5 will sell? Any excuse or condition which applies to these games also impacts Gran Turismo 5.
Why is it that I have to spoon feed basic information on every game that is massively overhyped (like Lair, Heavenly Sword and Uncharted) and when they come out and sell to the level of MY EXPECTATIONS you suddenly say that you didn't expect them to sell well?
