I think the term "broader appeal" or "reach out to a bigger audience" is now officially the worst things this generation has brought (for my part) and titles like MW3 epitomize these terms.

FFA? I know this is not as important to most people but it's the reason I don't have Battlefield 3.

Rock on dude this is exactly the reason I do not like it either. My friends all play mostly free for all together when they play with me. That is the reason I also see Halo and COD as superior to most multiplayer shooter games.
