At least Telbow did pretty well in the last few minutes. Then again, Telbow was a huge reason why we needed the comeback in the first place. It's a shame; I think the guy has a lot of potential, but he's just not there yet. He needs a lot of practice. Especially when it comes to throwing the ball. There were so many passes where I just cringed because he missed by such a huge margin. @chocoloco; I agree that McDaniels really screwed up the team. I was surprised that the Broncos started off at 6-0 in his first season, because it seemed like we won all of those games by some fluke. Then last season happened and proved me right. But I'm still cheering for the Broncos. I can't help it. I'm a die-hard Colorado sports fan. Even the Rockies (how about that 2007 choke in the World Series?!). |
Tebow looked reall bad against the Lions, but the loss is certainly not all his fault as the defense is also one of the worst in in the NFL. With time I expect he will improve and still think he has potential to be a star. That may be a couple years down the road, but as John Lynch said (former Bronco now announcer) said during the game the lions have quickly gone from a trashy team to a potential super bowl champion very quickly. These kinds of things happen all the time. I always follow the Broncs even if they suck and it is ggreat the city and state still do too.
Yeah, I watched the Rookies that playoff year (as I am not even close to a baseball fan). That was exciting, but I knew they had no chance against the RED Sox. It will be interesting to see if they ever become really good. Watch the Nuggets more mostly in the playoffs, but the Avalanche and the Broncos are my favorite teams by far.
