I can see where IDC would get their numbers, thinking the PS3 would eventually have a similar success to PS1 and PS2. But, what was iSupply smoking when they came up with those numbers? Each console would have less than 40 million active units in people's homes by the end of 2011? Did they think that gaming on consoles would start dying this gen, and then be totally dead next gen?
