Game looks good but Oblivion was that awful it just put me off getting this one.

oblvion was fine, the story was shit but i spend more then 300 hours on the game by just doing side quests and guild quests. 

It was terrible, broken levelling system, the stronger you got the stronger your enemies got, the harder the game became, so its was pointless i beat the game as level 7. All the main mission where you go and destroy the hell gates, every single one was laid out the exact same.

Ive never played anything so redundant and boring in my life.

leveling system was fine.

the whole point of oblivion were guilds and side quests. i just skipped the main story. in such a game the story is a place holder, its the rest that counts.

Pitty the rest of the world was pretty boring compaired to Morrowind 

never played morrowing. but i do agree that world was rather dull, but the guilds made it inresting especially that cursaders knight one. 

anyway skyrim is looking amazing, the enviorments look unique and beautiful.
