PS3 is the newest, and I'm just thinking of reactions from alot of people I know when they found out I had a PS3.  Many were offended - even if I did have an Xbox 360.  When I went to Japan, I didn't get that reaction.

No, just no dude. You know friends always rag on their friends for owning certain products...they aren't actually offended. I had tons of friends slag on my 360 and games that were on it but so what they played my 360 and enjoyed it they were just doing what most friends do.

Look at the sales of the PS3 in the US. If what you said is true than it would have sold roughly as much as the 360 has sold in Japan.


Also realize that I'm thinking more about the beginning of the generation. 

 

There was a time when alot of people felt it was a divine right to have PS3 exlusives on the Xbox 360 (MGS4 and FF13 at the time).  Starting with the first Uncharted 1, most reviewers - every time there was a good PS3 game that came to their desk - had to say "We all know you don't want a PS3, but this game is worth having a PS3 for."  I think once Uncharted 2 hit, they finally realized that gamers are missing out alot by skipping the PS3.

 

OF course, going into Gamestop, getting a PS3 game in 2007 and 2008 - I usually had to get the same speil about how the Xbox 360 was the better console, etc.

 

It's better now, but there are still alot of people that still say that PS3 has no good games.
