Well today UbiSoft shocked the world announcing they will be releasing an Assasins Creed Board Game. But the board game won't even be played on a board. It will be a virtual board game unclear how it will play. UbiSoft released very little information about the new board game other then the fact the campaign will be more then 8 hours long.

UbiSoft describes the gameplay asan RTS game that features "political battle" style gameplay. The game will feature the return of several characters as well as be set in multiple locations from Assasins Creed 2 and its sequel Assasins Creed:Brotherhood. The board game will be named "Assassin's Creed Recollection" and be released on the I-Pad family of devices.

As a bonus feature the game will also have the film Assassin's Creed Embers included with the download.

It will also feature a robust multiplayer, this should give gamers hours of enjoyment as they take each other on. While it hasn't been stated how many players can play at a time it is likely only two. The title is apparently coming from UbiSoft Montreal the studio behind Assasins Creed which means it should be of the highest quality. Assasins Creed Recollection launches in the app store this November.

What do you think do you like the idea of an Assasins Creed Board game? Should they release an actual physical board game or stick with the I-Pad? Do you think UbiSoft should bring the game to other tablet devices like Android?
