You seriously need to grow up and gain just a little more objectivity. Nintendo systems have always had adult content on them, all the way back to the NES (well as adult as you can get on an 8 bit system). This is also the first generation where they've chosen not to simply increase the power in their console and instead moved in a different direction.

If not for Sony entering and expending the market, gaming would still be looked on as something kids only do theres no way games would be as big and mature as they are now. There would be no Halo or Gran Turismo, maybe on a PC but not on a console. With out Sonys hardware the technological leaps between generation would not be as big as they are now so we would have "weak pathetic hardware".

And with out sony expending the market beyond kids we would mostly have kiddy games sinve the market would only be KIDS. Its this simple.

If not for MS online gaming would prpbably be non existant, NIn sure as hell would not be pushing online gaming.

hell without Sony, we would still be playing games on cartridges. (aka weak pathetic hardware)

 


 Wow what ignorant crap are you spouting?  Sony's huge technological leaps?  Okay using CDs in the Playstation was a good idea but every generation prior to this one Sony has had what is undeniably the weakest console on the market both graphically and in processor power.  If you are going to be a fanboy at least have some facts.  Ignorance is not a good thing.   Why is it Sony fanboys suddenly think that we should all live and die by graphics when the PSone and PS2 were great without having the best graphics?
