Yeah but MGS4, GTAIV are the only 10's this gen since before IGN stopped rating on a 100 point scale and started using a 20 point one instead.

No, the other way around lol. It should be a bit easier to get a 10 now than it was. Suppose a game got a 9.8 with the old system...that game would have a with the new system.

Hmm yeah I suppose, I was just thinking that it feels as if reviewers will only give a 10 if the game really really merits that score. So if the game was 9.9 and they are unable to give it 9.9 due to the new system, it would be 9.5.

But yeah you're right!
