High Voltage Software is a low budget software developer that is on a tight development timeline and the games they released were fairly good when you take that into account. While I'm certain this is the minority view, I think they could become a good developer if given the opportunity and/or mentorship; which probably wouldn't happen unless a company like Nintendo decided to enter into a publishing agreement with them or buy them. The core problem with High Voltage Software is that they were given a level of attention that they really shouldn't have because they were one of the few companies trying to do something other than simple party games. |
This is true, but whose fault was that. HVS own damn fault, you come out with piss and vinegar saying how great you are, you better be able to back it up. Look at Eurocom they made a great FPS for Wii and they barely talked at all. GE is light years ahead of Conduit
