It's an interesting premise and one I wouldn't mind seeing. The Vita and Wii U are just the starting points for something like this.
I love the idea of gaming on the big screen, stopping, then resuming where you left off on a handheld/controller. It's helpful if someone wants to watch TV or if you do; it's a multitasking dream.
